About Us

Founded by award-winning Australian filmmaker, Kody Bramhall, Daylight Pictures is an independent, Brisbane-based, production company that supports the promotion and visibility of gender diverse people on and behind the screen. 

Bramhall has directed more than ten short films which have screened around the globe, including; Brisbane, Melbourne, and international film festivals. Notable films include; Mum (2020), Killara (2021), Blackwood Road (2022), and Loon (2023). 

Bramhall specialises in post-production workflows, working on various television shows, commercials, and features. Recent accomplishments include; Gem Hunters Down Under (2023), Wildlife ER Season 3 (2024), and The Aegean (2024).
